Hi Folks,

I just wanted to ask you to please be patient re: postings to the News section. I'm trying to catch up with 6 years of posts lost in the past year, so it might take me a while to post the current news, please enjoy reading and responding to available posts in all sections in the interim.

Also, please feel free to make new posts in any sections including the 'News' section as appropriate. It's supposed to be a team effort.

Writers are also welcome to partake in all sections.

Advantages of Joining and Logging-in

You can post your responses to any/all topics on all open threads.

You are alerted as to which posts are new, so you don't have to try and figure out which posts you have or have not read. Also, if a thread has an update, you can follow up on that thread and keep up with the topic.

Certain topics will be available only to members.

Eventually when the board becomes "membership only", you will enjoy continuous access to any/all topics of interest.

You can send and receive private messages or email to other forum members.

People with an eye for positive/good news are needed to help me with postings in the News section. All you have to do is join if you're not a member already, and post any/all articles that are positive or proclaim good news about Nigeria.

Articles of relevance are also welcome in addition to your feedback in any/all of the other sections.

A welcome to all our new members. Just a reminder that you should all endeavour to particpate in the forum by responding to any of the existing threads/topics or starting one of your own.

Also, you need to sign in to read any Private messages from other forum users. By signing in new topics light up so you don't have to waddle through different topics to see which you've read.

Also, signing in and participating elevates your membership status and allows you to correspond with other forummers. Remember to PARTICIPATE

and not just browse. Also, feel free to invite other like-minded friends and relatives who can benefit from participation in the forum.

Please endeavour to post your feedback or new but RELEVANT articles, especially those of you that read te Naija dailies. You may also post any articls on any subject matter so far they are relevant to the forum, but please DON'T JUST visit to BROWSE and LEAVE. If no one was contributing to the site, you wouldn't have any material to browse in the first place.

It takes a village to raise a child and I hope you will all endeavour to PARTAKE IN KEEPING the GOAL of THIS FORUM which is TO UPLIFT NIGERIA in a POSITIVE WAY ALIVE.

You may feel the message is not relevant to you, but when you consider how many sites are out there where Nigeria and Nigerians are bashed daily, you should be thankful, you have a forum where the POSITIVE attributes of Nigeria and Nigerians are provided for all to see and know.

Also, please don't selfishly keep the info. about this forum to yourself, please pass the link on to others (regardless of their nationalities) who can benefit from the information and articles posted on the forum, including students doing research and foreigners who simply want to learn more about Nigeria and Nigerians.

Dear Members,

I hope you are all enjoying your summer so far. I have been away for a while but that shouldn't deter members from participating. By the time I resume activity on the site fully, I'll have updates about what's going on in and around Nigeria especially the major changes and improvements going on in lagos. Lagos is being given a major face lift and most of you will be delighted about the reports and feedback you'll be getting soon enough.

In the interim, anyone who has additional posts on Lagos or nigeria as a whole shouild feel free to post them.
