Quest Launches Online School Directory in Lagos

26th Sept. 2008

Quest Marketing Communication has launched an online registration for all private primary and secondary schools in Lagos State as part of the effort to guide parents and guardians who are facing problems in enrolling their children or wards in standard schools across the state.

This was made known at the press conference organized on Friday in Lagos by the Head of the Website Management team, Mr. Emiola Afolabi Taofeek. According to him, the web- based directory has listings for over 1,500 private primary schools as well as 1, 200 private secondary schools across the state, what parent need to do is to log on to the website by typing www.lagosschoolsonline.net

Emiola futher that the online registration is to help parents and guardian who have inadequate time to carry out on site inspection of schools to enroll their wards due to their tight work schedule. “The whole idea is to move things from place to space. So instead of the stress of searching for good schools, the online listing of schools will bring relative comfort”.

Adding that the online directory was important for most families who relocate from a particular area to another across the state because it would help in the area of searching for new schools nearby to enroll their children. He stated that the basic qualification for a school to be listed is that, it must be a standard school with Government approval or in the process of acquiring one.

“While locating prospective new schools for their children, parents and guardians could also request for the school evaluation services which would be rendered by his company”.

The evaluation services is to let parents have a critical appraisal of what a school has to offer, that is the raw and primary assessment of the school in order for parents to make better choice. He however noted that evaluation is based on the fact that most parents cannot do exhaustive research, so we help them do an assessment of the school of their choice.
