Sponsor or Contribute Towards a Child's EducationSponsor or Contribute Towards a Child's EducationSome Nigerians abroad feel they are too far away to make concrete impacts of the lives of Nigerians who may be less fortunate. Some others may feel they are only obliged to help their families and therefore send funds or whatever else they can muster home. The reality is that there are many of the Youth that can benefit from Nigerians in the Diaspora through organizations set up to meet such needs. Our children are future, therefore whatever help those who are willing, capable and motivated can render will always be appreciated. It is not sufficient to leave this task to foreigners who look on the plight of Africans and thus set out to help. We Nigerians ourselves should endeavour to partake in such endeavours and for those who already have seen this as their calling, our support is needed, as we Nigerians are in a better position to know the true plight of our fellow citizens, especially the youth who are not as privileged to have some of the educational standards those who preceded them had. I hope each and everyone of us will endeavour to support any/all organizations that have been set up to educate or assist in sponsoring the education of our youth. Cxsm 15th Sept.
