One Never Really Knows A PersonOne Never Really Knows A Person
Shows you how much one never really knows a person.
Speaking of that I'm not sure if any of you watched the TV program wherein it was revealed that some bisexual men unknown to their mates/spouses who thought they were in monogamous relationships are instead simultaneously in unprotected sexual encounters with homosexual men, with whom they used No protection, in order NOT to reveal that they were equally sleeping with women. These men I believe were called 'Down-low" or some such sounding name.
Apparently, some of the spouses ended up catching aids from these low-down or down-low men.
So for all women out there, there is absolutely NO guarantee that your men are indeed straight even if they profess to be so. Neither does (NOT acting gay, butch, effeminate, etc.) guarantee that your mate is straight as the new TV show wherein a straight woman is playing for money (the love of money as usual) to eventually choose a straight man and win $1 million while simultaneously dating 10-12 men some of which are homosexual.
I personally think today's media provides the fastest tunnel to hell, but then that may be a solo opinion. I never portrayed myself as a politically correct advocate.
(Regarding a comment by someone who stated that homosexuality was not addressed in the bible, and jested about doing one's cereal.) I can only ask "which copy of the Bible do you read and who do you think inspired the non-historical aspects of the bible?"
When I speak of a religious point of view, I am not necessarily narrowing that to Christians only, a lot of non-Christians also belong to religious groups that have religious laws that object to most of the same things Christians consider immoral. Even some atheist despite their disbelief in God consider certain acts immoral and/or objectionable.
So, while you may decide to 'DO' your cereal, not everyone might think you're insane, some people might just think you're hard up from 'not having had any in a long while', and that has no bearing on whether your advocacy makes you sound homosexual or not. You also may just have watched too many caligula movies.
Back to the discussion at hand, by the way did anyone also watch the 20/20 or 60 minutes episode wherein a man decided to change to a woman after being married to and having children with his wife, only to reveal the fact that he'd always wanted to be a woman when she was already long committed to the marriage.
He was also successful in convincing her to stay in the marriage while she supported him through the sex change operation and all the other stressful change periods, only to at the end state that he was now enjoying the fact that other men were now finding him/her desirable and since his marriage had become sexless (obviously since he no longer had a penis) he was beginning to contemplate the come-ons.
His wife's alternative was to become homosexual and perform lesbian duties as some other wives who had found themselves in similar positions had opted for in order not to lose the status quo of their marriage. But who is to say, that would be sufficient to prevent him from pursuing sexual advances and relationships from other men.
If this and other such acts do not constitute another Sodom and Gomorrah in the making, I suppose I'd better be politically correct and begin reading Mr. X's version of his bible instead.
In my interpretation of the bible the blood of Jesus replaced the sacrifice of animals' blood, and although the bible was written by humans, except for the historical stories and the laws which were formed by men; angelic acts (such as the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah), prophecies revealed by the Spirit of God and the commandments were inspired by the God, and thus whatever God determined/s as being abominable still remains abominable regardless of whether we are now in the 21st century and/or society has become politically correct.
Stealing for instance is considered not just a sin but a punishable crime in society at large, which comprises of people of various and/or no religions. The fact that it has long existed and some people receive privileged sentencing or just a wrist on the hand while others serve hard time for it, does not in anyway diminish the fact that society finds it objectionable. Always trying to be politically correct is the reason society condones a lot of crap that eventually leads to its decay.
We're all entitled to our different opinions, but sometimes the society at large needs to instill certain reasonable guidelines for the protection and/or benefit of all.
By the way, no one can know what sexual acts go on behind anyone's closed does unless they opt to share the details of their sexual encounters with others, so for all who are aware of homosexual or straight encounters it is because they wore their acts on their sleeves. At best all you can know even if you are a NOSY neighbour, is what kinds of sounds they do or do not make.
