Believe it or not, the posting I selected to read when I visited the website was one by you: I am proud to be Nigerian. Ended up reading your 2004 posting and your 2003 posting.
1. You write very well
2. We need more people with a positive attitude.
No matter how bad Nigeria is today, I always insist that it has done an AWFUL LOT for my contemporaries and I, and we therefore owe a LOT in return. We therefore have no reason to complain but should always strive, no matter how hopeless it may seem, to assist in ensuring that the less privileged get similar opportunities as we have had.
In addition, my experience has been that no matter how black Nigeria?s image appears to be abroad, whenever I interact with foreigners, they develop a very healthy respect for me in a very short time because I am extremely UPFRONT & UNAPOLOGETIC about Nigeria?s shortcomings. I just demonstrate that it is not everybody who personifies the shortcomings they have heard so much about. This forces them to open their minds and appreciate the beauty and strength of NIGERIA.
Long Live NIGERIA!
