D'Banj - 2007 MTV Europe Awards Winner

D'Banj another Nigerian musician has done us proud by winning the 2007 MTV Europe Awards for the Best African Act. He's the second Nigerian to win the award after 2Face the first recipient of the award in 2005. These Nigerians are doing us proud by putting us on the map, so our congratulations to them.

Two of D'Banj's musical hits include "Tongolo" [De Koko] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDkPysu9iPk&feature=related for which he's called 'Kokomaster' and "Why Me?" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rdwBsWpcGwU These were back to back hits loved by most Africans and others who had had the opportunity to listen to his music worldwide. His music was favoured as it was continuously downloaded as ringtones.

Another hit which I absolutely love is "Mobolowowon" . If you like dance Hall you'l also like "Move You Body" which he didwith Mo Hits [Don Jazzy] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Q0KCIJ60Xs
