Too Late to Be Appreciated

Most of us have been told that the wicked will suffer for their evil deeds, but in the interim, it's the innocent that suffer and endure the wicked deeds of these evil people.

Regardless of when these evil people will pay the price of their evil deeds, how about the lives of those they have destroyed, sometimes beyond repairs?

What consolation do these innocent victims get, especially when sometimes it is too late for their dispositions to be rectified?

I don't know if there is any consolation but in God himself. I just pray these people knew the Lord before their demise. He's the only one.
