Peterside Gets Ambassadorial Role

Super Eagles Media Co-ordinator Idah Peterside has been appointed as an Ambassador for Sports and Tourism. The former Nigeria international said that he was handed the role by Nigeria's Tourism Ministry and explained that he would be the face and voice of a new campaign to attract tourism through sports to Nigeria.
Peterside was a guest of the Ministry of Tourism and Culture at the just concluded Sports and Tourism Expo in Abuja and says he is humbled by the honour."The minister invited me over to be part of the event," the South Africa-based Peterside said. "They are happy with what I am doing at the moment and want me to take up a more formal role of representing the country." The appointment was communicated to the former Nigeria goalkeeper by the Honourable Minister, Prince Adetokunbo Kayode and takes immediate effect. The SuperSport analyst is expected to be in Malaysia later this year as part of his duties.
