Nemi Boyo
Born in Lagos as Oritshenemi Boyo, this new female musician is bringing a different flow to the Nigerian entertainment industry. With her mixture of different genres of music, she does not fail to reach out to the different individuals which make up the Nigerian population.
Singing for as long as she could talk it is no wonder that she sounds as fluent in her singing voice as she does when speaking. She has taken several voice training lessons and is also well covered in singing opera, she also took a training course created and organised by Brett Manning, the same brett manning that has worked with Beyonce, Christina Agulera, Taylor swift, Miley Cyrus, John Micheal Montgomery, Keith Urban, coaching the broadway cast of Les Miserables, Elton John's Aida, as well as Artist on both Independent and Major record labels like Interscope, Columbia, Atlantic records, e.t.c.
She attended Cororna primary school Gbagada. There she was a member of the school choir. She started and continued her secondary education in Avicenna international school G.R.A, Ikeja Where she peformed from time to time with two of her friends during different occasions. She was top 6 out of 50 in a singing competition at Muson Center in 2007.
In 2008 she was one of the guest peformers at the Anglican Church in Opebi, along with Cobabs, Eric(from idols), and Jarhdel (heritage)'. Now she wants to do something more with her talent and the industry has welcomed her heartily. With her unique way of singing it is no wonder that she should be Naija's bets kept secret.
She is currently working on her Album with ace producer Kaka Igbokwe son of Christy Essien Igbokwe, her single GOOD LYF which features Kaka and Md flow is definately the tip of the iceberg. She is also the neice to the very famous Ego Boyo, yes the same Ego Boyo that stared in CheckMate, a popular Nigeria soap in the 90's.
