Nasir el-Rufai - Controversial but Focused

Mallam Nasir el-Rufai is one of the most powerful Nigerians alive. He is the Minister in charge of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), a position that has seen him take absolute control of FCT in a bid to restore the masterplan of the city which had been distorted over the years by successive governments. He has confronted the mighty and the powerful in a bid to do his job and has often been castigated for being overzealous. He is one of the kitchen cabinet members of President Obasanjo. He chairs the civil service reform committee which is expected to sack about 75 percent of the federal civil service.
