Enugu Restates Commitment to Quality Education

The Enugu State Government has restated its commitment to the provision of qualitative education to its citizens at all levels. The State Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Ndidi Chukwu made the government position known while addressing a one-day education sensitization seminar organized by the state government in collaboration with the United States Education Advisory Centre of the American Embassy, Abuja, for secondary school students in the state.
The Commissioner disclosed that already government had developed a comprehensive programme aimed at assisting its youths in acquiring qualitative education at home and abroad, adding that the seminar was designed to explain to the participants about the various scholarship programmes open to international students under US Achievers Programme (USAP).
She expressed hope that the programme would further strengthen the already existing relationship between the Enugu State Government and the United States of America. She appealed to both the participants and the entire student population in the State to avail themselves of the opportunities offered by the programme, adding that they would benefit immensely from it.
