Edge of Your Breakthrough
If you've ever been in a Pentecostal setting or amongst Pentecostals, you've probably heard the term "Edge of Your Breakthrough." Normally, one might simply be told or warned that one is at the 'edge of one's breakthrough' so one should be more prayerful or should not let the devil snatch one's blessings, victories, healing, deliverance, etc. Or one may be similarly told that 'the devil snatched one's blessings, victory or deliverance at the edge of one's breakthrough.'
The question is since it is believed that "What God has destined for a person will definitely become his or hers;" then 'Why would God simultaneously permit the devil to snatch one's appointed blessings, victory, healing or deliverance.'
Yes, most of us probably know of the example in the bible where God destined victory, but it was snatched by satan's agent and the Angel Michael had to fight to recover it for the designated recipient.
So, why if God in His sovereignty truly intended some blessings, victories, healing and deliverance for us, why then would He simultaneously give satan the 'permissive will' to steal or delay these same gifts?
Does it mean we, or at least some of us always have to struggle to receive that which we are told is destined for us?
