Ecofest Kicks Off in Asaba in November

Management of Grand Hotels Asaba says Ecowas Festival of Arts, Culture and Tourism (ECOFEST), slated for the month of November, is a big tourism potential in Africa, and promises to continue to promote the event, adding that it will ensure that this year's edition attracts participants from all the ECOWAS member countries.
The new General Manager of the hotel, Mr. Marcel Brekelmans stated this while playing host to stakeholders in the tourism industry, top government officials and the business community in Asaba, which was attended by the State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dr. Peter Ebireri.
According to him, "ECOFEST is a good example of what Grand Hotel is capable of doing and this year's edition of ECOFEST promises to be even bigger, better and brighter than the previous one with participants drawn from all our ECOWAS member countries.
"They will come and show their rich cultural heritage and background in the forms of art, music and above all, fashion.
