Beads - What's the Connection?
Three known religious Sects use beads in some aspect of praying to and connecting with God, namely the Catholics, Moslems and Ifa Priests. What exactly is the connection?
Each religious sect differ in their beliefs and practices and who they call on as intermediaries to the God they serve, as well as in their chosen mode of worship, but ultimately they all use beads to offer some type of prayer or to gain revelation from God. Again what is the connection?
Despite my belief that Catholics were Christians most of my life, I was recently enlightened other wise. At least in Nigeria, Catholics .................
If anyone can enlighten us as to the exact PURPOSES of using beads in each religious sect, it would be very much appreciated?
What exactly do the use of beads accomplish?
