Balarabe Musa - The Voice of Opposition

Alhaji Balarabe Musa, second republic governor of old Kaduna State, easily passes as one of the most principled politicians of our time. In fact, he was impeached from office for his insistence on principle.

Today he is the rallying point of opposition politicians through the Conference of Nigerian Political Parties (CNPP) for which he is the national chairman. Even as the establishment would usually not agree with him on issues, he is hardly ignored. A cross section of Nigerian populace tends to believe him more than the government on issues.
