Ahmadu Ali - The (former) President's Chairman

As the national chairman of the ruling PDP, Senator Ali's influence in the socio-political arrangement cannot be underestimated. Even though he was highly respected among his ethnic Igala people of Kogi State, his fame was localised until recently when he took over the leadership of the PDP. For a head of a political body that has the President, Vice President and 28 of the 36 states under its control, his influence is far-reaching.
